Secondly, to provide the most rapid turn-around time possible for reviewing and publishing, and to disseminate the articles freely for teaching and reference purposes. The African Journal of Traditional, Complementary and Alternative Medicines is published by African Networks on Ethnomedicines (ANE), "an independent network committed to ensuring peer-reviewed ethnomedicinal works and is permanently available online without charge or any other barriers to access.”
